We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Hanoi. We are currently expanding our business operations into Vietnam as our company is growing. We will be opening our first Vietnam office in Hanoi and have plans for further expansion. The Hanoi office will support the Vancouver head office in a variety of different media and software related projects.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the CEO and COO, the accounting manager is responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Responsible for company financial statement to ensure that accounting records are correct and accuracy, to ensure that every transaction complies with company policy, local tax regulation as well as statutory requirements.
Ensure monthly closing activities are completed on time according to internal reporting schedule. Every record is properly reconciled and reliable. Ensure the monthly reports are submitted on time.
Prepare GL, PO, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets reporting to ensure that all transactions are well monitored and properly recorded in the system. This is to ensure that all monthly balance sheet and P/L transactions are reconcilable with Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reports.
Support the development of financial systems and procedures to meet current and future financial accounting and reporting requirements in line with executive leadership and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with auditor for annual audit and provide the necessary information to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, local/statutory accounting standards, corporate policies and procedures as well as all applicable laws including regulations.
Coordinate timely and accurate tax reporting, filing and overall compliance in the area of direct and indirect taxation. Proactively monitor business, tax and other regional specific opportunities to optimize value for the company.
Other duties as assigned by senior leadership.

Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and Vietnamese is a must.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics from an accredited college or university.
Chief Accountant Certificate needed, ACCA is an advantage.
Sound understanding of local tax and regulatory systems.
Minimum 4 years experiences in similar position.
Good knowledge in accounting systems.
Good cross functional and cross-cultural communication skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics from an accredited college or university.
Chief Accountant Certificate needed, ACCA is an advantage.

Minimum 4 years experiences in similar position.
