Accounting Manager

As Accounting Manager you will manage and take responsibility for the full scope of Financial and Management Accounting activities at a newly established dynamic manufacturing company based in VSIP II-A industrial park in Binh Duong province. It is a position that integrates accounting with certain aspects of financial management and is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to grow and develop together with the company.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Maintain all accounting records of the company (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, financial analysis and reports, budgeting, revenue, and asset accounting etc.)
• Prepare accounting reports and tax returns in a timely and reliable manner (CIT, PIT, VAT, WHT, statistics reports, payroll tax calculations)
• Responsible for the statutory reporting and company’s compliance with the Vietnamese legislation
• Perform Chief Accountant duties including approving all accounting documents, payments and other accounting activities of the company
• Ensure appropriate internal controls of the company's operations are in place
• Establish a professional relationship with the tax authorities, customs, etc. and when required provide reports, respond to requests, and prepare for audits
• Contribute to the establishment of the company’s accounting/ERP system
• Keep track of changes in the accounting legislation and provide technical expertise and advice to the management team
• Cooperate with external organisations such as banks, auditors, consultants and advisors
• Contribute to the development of a long-term finance strategy
• Assist in establishing financial rules, policies and procedures in the company
• Build and develop a team of accounting professionals to ensure an efficient operation of the company’s accounting function

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
• Master’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
• Chief Accountant Certification
• Chartered Accountant Qualification is a plus (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA)
• Experience with one of the Big 4 in audit or tax is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of VAS and IFRS
• Experience in liaising with all levels of government authorities especially in tax and customs
• Native Vietnamese speaker with fluent verbal and written English
• Prior experience in the multinational environment is desired
• High professional standards and strong work ethic
• Ability to understand and contribute to realizing the strategic objectives of an organization
• Practical knowledge of main MS office tools, ERP systems, and accounting tools
