Accounting Manager

• Business Partner to the Country Head for all finance operations matters
• Managing the cash flow of the company; not just AR/AP function but also forecasting to HQ the business requirement
• Working with Corporate sales, Ecommerce team and the OTA for collection issues
• Ensure property payments are made timely, and booking data from booking engine is reconciled and check against our finance records
• Reporting of monthly financial statements to headquarters; P&L by property and by department
• Reporting of the annual financial statements to headquarters, auditors KPMG and tax authorities. Take charge of the local statutory audit requirements, and also the group reporting package
• Ensure the accounts are kept in accordance to local reporting requirement and IFRS
• Ensure compliance with tax filing; corporate income tax, VAT etc
• Main contact point for local auditors, tax agents and bankers. This includes updating the company investment proposal to the government, and how it is funded ie equity / long term loan / short term loan
• Ensure compliant with Reddoorz Group practices. This can include running various projects ie involvement in integration/enhancement of SAP with the local finance team
• Monitor and start better corporate governance & asset safe guarding controls
• Involve in the monitoring of business performance and expenses against the budget. Taking initiative and make suggestions to ensure cost is managed
• Hiring and training the finance team members

• 5 years of managerial experience
• Bachelor degree
• Possess a professional qualification i.e. member of ACCA or any status equivalent to a Qualified Accountant
• High proficiency in the English language is mandatory
• Preferably a candidate with experience in a tech firm or ecommerce industry
• Preferably a candidate with experience on SAP B1
