Accountant

The Account Receivables Specialist will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. With an extreme attention to detail, you will be handling full-cycle AR, processing a significant number of invoices each week.
• Provide information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders
• Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment
• Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans
• Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization
• Carry out an assortment of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard
procedures, including general accounting tasks
• Process payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in
compliance with GAAP
• Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers
• Verify documents and codes

• Bachelor Degree in accounting/finance
• Understanding of accounting software such as Xero, MISA
• Strong computer literacy, accuracies, attention to details, cautious with
sensitive/confidential
• Ability to clearly communicate complex information, both verbally and written in both
Vietnamese and English
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks for self and others and follow them through to
completion
