Accountant

Effective Date: As soon as on board
Direct Manager: Controlling and reporting manager, functionally report to Accounting Manager

Key responsibilities
1. Treasury
- Prepare and follow up bank payments in E-banking system.
- Support on commercial banking feasibility
- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs. Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet operational activities
- Review and deal for best interest rates on the company's borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions
- Reconciliation b/w Bank and cash with Sub Ledgers and general ledger

2. Capex
- Maintain newly acquired fixed assets and those disposed in system to ensure fixed assets register in good quality and timely.
- Perform reconciliation of fixed asset subsidiary ledger balance with summary-level account in the general ledger
- Create fixed asset related audit schedules, and collaborate with auditors on their assignments
- Carry out fixed assets physically counting
- Perform fixed asset depreciation and related analyses
- Jointly work on capex application and monitor actual vs capex budget.

3. Reporting and business analysis
- Work with HFM system (upload trial balance, clear all outstanding checks, input financial KPIs…
- Fulfill internal reports for entities in charge
- Prepare part of monthly management reports as per assigned by C&R manager.
- Support on budget/ Quarterly Forecast for in-charge entities
- Communicate/ collaborate with related companies (Group) for detail
- Other Ad-hoc reports tasks

4. Assistance on internal control
- Support on internal audit, other internal control projects
- Support on policy & procedure preparation and implementation
- Other tasks upon requests

• Recognized qualifications in Accounting or financial related professional, with a Bachelor of Art or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 year experiences, in which there are at least 1 year at similar position in MNC/international environment with strong technical accounting/controlling skills.
• Technology savvy with experience in ERP System and reporting tool. ERP of M3 and Business Object reporting tools are an advance.
• English skills: intermediate level, understanding accounting terminology.
• Computer skills: excellent Excel skills.
• Self-starter and good team player with professional behaviors
