Accountant

Position Purpose
• Responsible for handling all accounting processes to
• Provide accurate and timely financial information, ensure efficient control of all financial transactions in the company.
• Ensure all accounting records in compliance with internal and government policies.

Principal Accountabilities
1. Process and monitor payables, receivables, inventory and related transactions to ensure accurate record in accounting system and in compliance with local tax, financial policies, procedures, contractual requirements.
Create revenue invoices including consolidated billing in real time.
Enter and manage journal entries, including automated reversing entries in real time.
Maintain and well organize accounting documents orderly and in compliance with record & information management compliance
2. Analyze profit and loss of trade done. Reconcile and analyze actual vs budget of operating expenses to explain big gap if any.
3. Do monthly reconciliation about Balance Sheet including Cash management, Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Taxes (VAT, withholding tax, CIT) to make sure those records are accurate and resolve discrepancies if any. Prepare monthly VAT, withholding tax report if any
4. Provide support for budget process and for auditing as per assigned work.
5. Manage AP/ AR aging, forex exposure and interest properly to mitigate risks.
6. Coordinate with Traders, Operations, Manager, Regional Accountants and controllers in trade limit controlling to manage customer exposure risk in trading and any other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Auditing or Finance

Experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Knowledge of tax regulations.
• Relevant working experience in Accounting and Finance
