Accountant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check and update all the payments received from students and customers.
- Check and issue VAT invoices for tuition fees, other incomes.
- Monitor collections by cash and credit cards and liaise with credit card agents as and when required.
- Reconcile all debtors’ accounts at month end.
- Enter source transactions (cash disbursements, purchases/expenses) in proper General Ledger accounts.
- Perform accurate and timely validation, processing, provision of documentation and database maintenance.
- Other tasks to be assigned by supervisor.

- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role focusing on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards, current tax regulation and invoicing regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in sub ledger/general ledger reconciliation.
- Experience in conducting bank reconciliations.
- Proven ability to work independently and with limited supervision
- Experience with E-Banking is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in using Accounting software such as Sun system.
