Accountant (Account Receivable)

1. JOB PURPOSE:

This headcount replaces a current Account Receivable (“AR”) Accountant. It will share workload from the Finance & Accounting team and handles Account Receivables.

2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Explain in about six to eight points the principal accountabilities that the job must achieve, and for each accountability explain what is done, and show the objective end result for the current financial year)

• Daily post receipts from customers to JDE system.
• Release sales orders in accordance with Credit policy and Power of Authority.
• Follow up on payments from customers
• Prepare and send reminding payment letters to customers.
• Prepare and reconcile weekly AR reports. Monthly, prepare AR reserves and balance sheet reconciliation with AR ledgers. Assist with month-end closing/AR accounts
• Filing VAT output invoices, prepare VAT output reports and invoices reports
• Update customer database
• Assist to review credit applications and annual review, ageing analysis reports, receipt projections, etc.
• Other assignments from the supervisors.

Qualifications and Education:
• Bachelor’s degree of Accounting/Finance
• Knowledge of account receivable
• Fluency in spoken and written English skills

Experiences:
• Least 3-year experiences in AR Accountant roles
• JDE experience is a plus
