Mô tả công việc

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the position holder’s main responsibilities are:

Credit Management

Credit Approval – Direct Customers and Distributors

• Provide assistance to Sales Team in preparing the Credit Application Form and ensuring sufficient supporting documents are provided;
• Review credit application and analyze customer’s financial position based on financial data submitted.
• Provide recommendation to BU on proposed credit limit, payment terms as well as ensuring sufficient collateral or financing requirements are obtained based on Chevron’s policies prior to obtaining appropriate approval (based on table of commitment authority, TOCA).
• Communicate the result to Sales Team and ensure that all requirements are met prior to releasing order to customer.
• Maintain & update customer’s credit limit on an on-going basis based on volume lifted and payment record.
• Review/discuss with Business Unit, Legal, Regional Treasury and Finance manager for various initiatives on distributor financing with local banks, bank guarantees, etc. to ensure they meets Chevron’s guidance.

Credit Violation

• Clarify credit violation with BU before requesting Finance Manager or regional credit team to approve for releasing the orders. Able to provide financial justification and necessary due-diligence to ensure customer is able making payment for released orders due to violations.
• Manually prepare list for statistics for monitoring and analysis credit violation
• Monitor due invoices and coordinate with sales team to follow up with customer for payments.

Monthly Activities

• Monitor and make sure all incoming payments from customer/distributor for the period have been posted to accounting system in accordance to US GAAP and local statutory filing requirements.
• Prepare aging report for monthly reporting & make sure aging report ties up with customers’ open items
• Calculate Credit Metrics for monthly reporting per Segment as requested by Regional for monthly Scorecard purpose & distribute the result to Sales Team. Ensure proper explanation is provided to BU in order to address concerns or issues.

Quarterly Credit Board meeting

• Preparation of Credit Report and Credit Board Meeting Minutes
• Prepare the materials & distribute to Participants and make sure aging report ties up with customers’ open items. Provide analysis based on customer/distributors.
• Conduct Annual Credit Review to review credit facility provided to all active customers and ensure credit limit accounts are duly reviewed per Credit policy and procedure.
• Maintain strong working relationship with BU and develop annual customer visit plan to ensure that relevant non-quantitative factors are taken into evaluation of credit limit review process
• Evaluate, develop and implement appropriate solution to safeguard credit risk exposure that is permitted under governing Credit policies and procedures to support BU requirements. Ensure safekeeping of bank guarantee. Provide supervision on bank guarantee negotiation process with customers and bank to ensure customer use the correct template of CLVL
• Stay abreast of market and industrial updates that would be relevant to credit review and receivable collection

Receivables Management

• Daily obtain bank statement for the money received from customer and Inputs into accounting system to match with respective invoices of each customer.
• Manage Trade Receivable balances and work with sale team to ensure that prompt action is taken on past due accounts to minimize any bad debts exposure. Perform regular reconciliation of all Receivable balances and handle quarterly Fin-crisis reporting.
• Evaluate, coordinate and implement the workout agreement with customers for Bad Debts account, in coordination with BU and Legal teams. Ensure proper documentation of the tracing process under Vietnam jurisdiction requirements.
• Handle Account Receivable analysis, Credit Metric reporting, Bad debt allowance reporting, KPI reporting to local management and regional credit team. Responsible for annual audit or corporate audit inquiries that relate to credit and receivable function
• Conduct reconciliation for all receivable accounts and make sure AR balances in GL vs. sub GL

SOX compliance, local statutory audit, Tax audit & Others

• Assist Finance Manage & Accounting Manager in SOX testing/review to ensure SOX deadline are met
• Handle documentation and review flowchart of risk control related to assigned responsibility
• Coordinate data request from Auditor and send receivable confirmation to all customer and manage follow up with customer to have submission on time
• Assist and participate in ad-hoc work requests and special projects and reviews, investigation of credit watch, audit reviews and action follow-ups.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• Bachelor’s degree holder, major in Finance and Accounting
• At least 5 years’ experience with multinational companies in similar position
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese
• Strategic thinking, planning, problem solving, and teamwork skills
• Familiar with MS Office and Accounting soft-wares
• Committed, high sense of responsibility
• Self-motivated, willing to learn and develop knowledge and skill
