Account Payable Accountant

Role purpose

This position is responsible for:
1. Receiving, checking the payment request and making payment order, bank transfer payment
2. Making sure the payment request is full of invoices, documents and scientifically store
3. Booking and posting accounting transaction onto SUN systems

Key Accountabilities

• Receive invoice(s)/document(s) & review all invoice(s) information compliance with Tax regulation/Company policy. This include Local & Oversea purchase
• Record entries into accounting system, ensure all entries recording must be complied with company policies, procedures and tax regulations (account, cost center, allocation expense, meaning full description, payment term)
• Follow up the payable, advance/downpayment to review payment request, clear advance/downpayment on time
• Process and record pre-paid expenses and accruals. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as necessary
• Back up and support other team members as assigned
• Perform bank account reconciliations
• Support on tax inspection, internal and external audit
• Support the works of closing books, at the end of month/quarter/year
• Other tasks are as assigned by Line Manager/Chief Accountant/CFO

- Bachelor degree in Accounting
- 2 years of experience as an accountant (experience in Life Insurance industry is a plus)
