LOCATION: Ho Chi Minh/ Bien Hoa
BUSINESS: Polyurethane - Vietnam

* SCOPE OF JOB
The Account Manager (Chinese speaking) role is expected to generate revenue and profit in Vietnam developing business and sales with global customers and key niche technology platforms that fit our strategic objectives of profitable growth…in particular Auto, Flex, A&C markets for Polyurethanes in Vietnam

This position NO NEED to come to Dong Nai office everyday, candidates can work from home or customer visits if needed.

* PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES.
• Gaining an understanding of the other markets into which Huntsman may have the ability to sell its product and liaising with our Market Development and Technical resources to formulate plans and actions to sell into the Vietnam market
• In conjunction with other Huntsman resources, ensure that administrative aspects such as order processing, customs clearance, delivery, receivables and other aspects are properly handled in accordance with policy
• Keep company informed of market developments and also competitive intelligence when applicable
• Maintain and grow sales and profitability in the Vietnam market for all business.
• Identify and satisfy customers’ needs and provide value-added solutions to gain and maintain business
• Develop and maintain solid relationship with various decision makers of existing and potential customers.
• Provide technical service, including trouble-shooting and application training on-site to customers.
• Provide accurate forecast of customer demand on different products on a timely basis.
• Collect all payments when due; Help financial dept. to control credits to customers so that no bad debts occur.
• Work with machine/applicator/raw material suppliers to identify new opportunities and capture them.
• Ensure that all work undertaken is carried out in full compliance with the company’s EH&S procedures and policies and strive for continuous improvement in safety performance. He or she will maintain an awareness of EH&S procedures and standards and ensuring that proper “input” program are introduced, as well as ensure that all work within the team, both in-house and at customers is conducted in a safe manner consistent so as to ensure zero OHSA injuries.
• Develop potential agent and distributor.
• The role will lead sales team to deliver sales & financial target of the business. He/She will also lead in preparing and proposing annual sales target, and work closely with the Business Manager - Vietnam to establish the business strategy plan and implementation of the plan. He/She will work closely with the Technical Service & Platform team to ensure good communication of new technology development and identify new opportunities to ensure business long term sustainability and profitable growth.
• Collect & report the update marketing information such as market trends, price and competition to supervisor.
• Others as assigned.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

• High level of understanding of the Vietnam polyurethanes market,
• Experience in the specialty chemical sector would be advantageous.
• Experience at business development and selling in Vietnam…especially Auto, Flexible Foam, Adhesive & Coating market.
• Technical or engineering background/education highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate & writing effectively in English and Vietnamese.
• Chinese Speaking and Writing skill will be preferable.
• Must be self-starting and be able to work effectively with little supervision
• Ability to liaise at multiple levels within a matrix structure
