Academic Officer

* OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

The position is in charge of Educational Consultation (EC), Resource Center (RC) and Teaching Assistance (TA).

* BASIC FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist foreign teachers in assigned classes as Teaching Assistant (TA)
• Assist Consultant department with student enrolment in different program(s).
• Assist daily operations of the Material division;
• Assist to prepare and provide teaching books, CDs and other materials;
• Prepare for new class open in the month: register, books, CDs, others;
• Provide Academic services for tests (IELTS, TOEFL, practice tests, make-up tests....);
• Be in charge of registers checking/updating & reporting any issues to AS;
• Do other tasks as required by AM, AS.

* QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
• Knowledge:
- Appropriate University degree (Bachelor degree in BA, Economy, English is preferable)
- Good English (presenting, writing, listening, reading)
- Graduated from English major or holding an International English certificate is a plus.
• Experience (preferable):
- 1-year experience in similar job
- Experience in education, customer service
• Other:
- Work well under pressure and handle stress

* WORKING TIME:
Maximum 44 hours shift work a week, timetabled by the immediate manager in consonance with the Admissions requirements. Lunch break 12:00 - 2:00 pm. Outside work-hours required from time-to-time when tasks need to be completed on time.
