Job Purpose *
The primary role of the position is to support to ensure the implementation of data governance programs initiatives across CIMB Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities *
• Oversee progression and timelines of all country Data Governance initiatives (Data Classification & Labeling, Data Glossary, Data Quality Monitoring, etc.)
• Monitor local regulatory requirements to identify and ensure data governance/management compliance obligations.
• Promote Data Governance/ Data Management requirements and culture to all internal stakeholders through various awareness raising activities.
• Oversee monthly Data Quality Index to ensure it within the country benchmark and relevant root-cause analysis/cleansing activity are conducted.
• Liaise with Data Stewards to continuously enhance respective Data Profiling rules to improve country data quality.
• Keep track and reports data quality issue/incident and evaluation of its compliance to CIMB Data Management policy and assess the risk of non-compliance.
• Liaise with respective Data Steward to conduct investigation for root cause analysis, identify and ensure appropriate mitigation action is put in place and escalation to Vietnam Data Governance Committee when necessary.
• Proactively work on analysis and identify opportunities to improve data management, data security to country stakeholders.
• Support to run quarterly country Data Governance Committee with key stakeholders and monthly updates to Group Data Governance
• Play a role of secretary for Vietnam Data Governance Committee.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Management/Business Information System or a related technical field.
• Experience in similar position in Banks/Financial Services.
• 2-5 years of experience in any position of relevant GRC (Governance/Risk/Compliance) with minimum 2 years of experience in data governance.
• Experience in working as a consultant from professional service firms with relevant project experience.

Technical skills
• Advanced skills in ITIL, COBIT, MS Office, and Data Presentation.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality methodologies and practices, preferably with experience in Governance tools
• Familiar with regulatory requirements regarding Data Management/Data Governance.
• Experience in project management and possess good facilitation skills with the ability to manage different stakeholders across the Bank.
• Familiar with general data architecture concept, data dictionary.
