Job Description: Mar, 2013 – Sep, 2014: Senior Merchandiser – handle and control a team of Pants: follow order from getting order until shipment

Get development techpack from buyer, assign junior merchandiser to direct handle new style
Manage planning of sample with sample room, have sample schedule sending to buyer.
Manager booking fabric and accessories, have leadtime, ETD, ETA for each purchase order. Summary booking schedule and have updated chart daily to factory.
Checking with factory Planner the production capacity, input, output
Working with QC and QA at factory for any issue or trouble
Have team meeting about status of each style every Monday
Working with shipping dept. to book vessel.

Job Description: Oct, 2014 – May, 2017: Senior Colorist – checking color of LD, bulk trim & material.

Get development sample request from buyer
Request mill to make LD for fabric, trims according with development
Update time of all LD to make sure on time of submit
Checking color and give mill comment of LD, make sure color is matching with color standard before sending to buyer.
Submit LD and bulk to buyer follow buyer’s form. Mark clearly comment to buyer and chasing comment for the approval. Feedback to mill any concern and color improvement.
I have jointed the Chico’s Color Exchange to get the same standard between Chico’s and vendor, follow procedure of buyer color SOP.

Working at subcon factory (Phu Ly – Ha Nam), keep coordination between head office and factory
Get all production information from head office in Zhong Shan (China): OMO, raw-mat, material and accessories shipping schedule, approved sample…
Follow status of material and accessories on factory store, feedback head office any issue or problem: broken, missing or wrong item…
Follow sample process in factory, request and submit samples to head office in good quality on time.
Prepare QC File, join the PP meeting is conducted by QA team
Report status of production, send production status with update cut, input, output, washing, packing qty every day to team
Pushing up the capacity of factory if they don’t catch the target quantity, keep the most update about production status to head office.
Work with QA team and head office when find the problem in line, solve any issue asap
Check schedule and book third party for final inspection if needed
Control planning and keep all shipment on schedule, don’t have risen issue by air shipment
Monitor factory to apply Brand Protection Process for customer ANF
Making summary report to head office: finalize style report, monthly final inspection report…
