* Planning / Budgeting:
- Leads, directs and controls capital and operating budgets for the plant to achieve medium-term outlook financial performance objectives set by the business. Ensures and holds direct reports accountable for meeting and controlling operating expenses and established targets.
- Manages manufacturing P&L budgets/metrics and understands how production expenditure/costs impacts businesses margins and pricing. Forecasts overall volume of orders and inventory turns/costs. Partners with procurement/sales departments to establish best sourcing/pricing practices.
- Accountable for setting and managing base and non-base capital investments projects for the plant. Ensures capital projects objectives and scope are consistent with business strategy and technology strategy.
- Use and monitor revenue and expenses in the factory in accordance with financial regulations of Head Quarter.
- Set up business plans monthly, quarterly and yearly according to the strategic orientation of the company.
- Implementing, directing and managing production activities in accordance to the approved plan / norm.
- Ensure completion of the production plan / targets
- Promote the development and implementation of work plans for each department.
- Focus on target of cost reduction yearly
- Planning the production schedule of the factory to ensure the product quality, quantity and time requirements. Manage and supervise the entire production process.
* HSE & FSQR
- Leads employee and food safety program standards and goals for the plant. Accountable for all internal/external operating/regulatory procedures on employee safety and food safety including strategic and tactical execution in alignment with Corporate Environment, Health and Safety (HSE) and Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory (FSQR) Functions as well as government regulations.
- Collaborates with HSE/FSQR experts to ensure the most effective risk mitigation plans and regulatory compliance strategies are in place
- Health & Safety: champions a culture of zero injury and illness.
- Environmental: Reduces and proactively avoids environmental impact and potential risk to the businesses.
- Food Safety: Accountable for eliminating risks associated with products. Ensures HACCP requirements are met in all food processes.
- Educates/trains workforce in the food safety fundamentals and completes safety inspections and housekeeping audits.
- Oversees HSE/FSQR incident data to identify risks and to act on risk mitigation strategies (safety index, food safety index, FSQR audits).
- Inspect and supervise all activities at the factory to promptly detect any incidents / errors (existing or potential) that cause or threaten to cause damage to production / property / people at the factory. Simultaneously, immediately report to the top management on these incidents / errors.
- Responsible for ensuring the safety and good operation of the fire prevention and fighting system, labor safety, machinery, production lines, mechanical systems and tools of the factory.
* Production Efficiency
- Accountable for the overall operational management of a plant. Implements operational efficiency improvements which may include, but are not limited to, standardization of plant information manufacturing systems, quality control, safety, production reliability excellence and maintenance, operators best practices.
- Responsible for aligning overall team resources, with direct coordination/support from Operations Managers, to execute against medium-long term strategies and for meeting medium-term outlook strategic operations goals in accordance with plant objectives.
- Leverages/deploys leading operational practices and aggressively raise the performance of poor departments by monitoring key performance indicators (yield optimization, energy/water usage reductions, operator safety indexes).
- Leads Reliability Excellence processes across less complex plant and ensures the reliability culture is foundational to operations. Enforces common reliability processes and metrics (focus on eliminating the root-cause of reliability problems) to achieve targeted results from continuous improvement practices, and validates the importance of Reliability Excellence through key successes (scorecard and metrics control, total cost of maintenance, total cost of ownership, monthly review of compliance audits, etc).
- Approve and ensure standards / quality for the design of the production equipment system, build & maintain QMS (Quality Management System).
- Be present in time to deal with accidents / disputes arising at the factory and promptly take steps to prevent / remedy the damages to the plant, the company and the employees. .
- Checking, assessing and reporting monthly to General Director/Chairman on the production situation, labor efficiency, production process and abnormalities (if any) at the factory
- Establish mechanisms, policies, regulations and procedures in accordance with the system.
- Maintain and improve the quality management system in order to reduce defect rate of the product and increase the efficiency of the use of materials, machinery and human resources.
* People Management
- Develops/supervises and provides coaching including core values and guiding principles for a plant.
- Oversees general workforce administration policies and programs in the areas of communications, staffing, training, evaluations, disciplinary actions and safety. Develops planning for future production workforce needs and participates in selection of employees.
- Responsible for developing strong leaders and a less diverse workforce by seeking multiple approaches to source/attract diverse talent. Incorporates diversity in succession planning and job fulfillment.
- Develops/Implements Plant operational/reliability/safety training programs and monitors employee performance records on a monthly/ quarterly basis.
- Accountable for medium-term outlook workforce planning and accountable for successful training and on boarding of new/transferred employees as well as workforce engagement, recognition, development and coaching.
- Leads and implements systems and processes to maintain a highly engaged workforce. Holds direct reports accountable for actively addressing engagement issues and identifies/leverages best practices in engagement.
- Assure manpower plan matching with production demand and high productivity, build the productivity quota of employees under sections
- Allocate KPIs for all staff

Follow up to have proper proposal to Plant director on time to adjust the process, norm, procedure related to machines/ equipment and energy within the limitation of management to meet the highest effectiveness.
Deploy human force of the department as per the headcount which was approved, ensure expenses not over budget.
Analyze the result of manufacturing activities compared to manufacture plan to have solutions in controlling and managing in time all resources to meet the business need of corporate.
Control about shortage in resources over budget and give proper solutions to correct it effectively.

Responsible for follow up all systems WCOM,GMP,TPM, HACCP, QCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 22000 and standard Food Safety FrieslandCampina (FOQUs) and request to change if any development/improvement.
Monitor all activities relating to the production line to make sure production target is reached in both quantity and quality.

Ensure that the production people are updated with the dairy knowledge related with the job functions in order to maintain the quality of the product according to the required specifications by lines’ internal trainer and production trainer. Following closely the latest developments in the processing and dairy technology area
Coordinate with other department (Technical, QC, R&D, QASE…) for new product/packaging development or product improvement to make sure that all activities are controlled and monitored according to the procedure and dairy knowledge related during commissioning/trial run to validate it is reliable for mass production and to define the right parameter related to the product quality
