- Provide coaching and advice on financial modelling for investment team members;
- Maintain and update the financial models of Mekong Capital;
- Perform and update foreign exchange rate forecast system;
- Generate strategies and initiatives to optimize cash surplus while ensuring very minimal related risks for Mekong Capital;
- Prepare and maintain annual budget for Mekong Capital, ensure actual performance within budget by preparing rolling forecasts and taking corrective actions;
- Supervise all accounting activities, such as: review monthly payments, review monthly financial reports, review annual audited reports, manage compensation systems.

- Build 5-year financial model of potential portfolio investee companies;
- Develop, update and ensure the completion of implementation process, including substantial interaction with advisors performing legal due diligence, operational due diligence, financial due diligence or independent financial audit, environment and social compliance due diligence, and background check;
- Develop and implement the 100-day implementation plan which include all recommendations to improve the portfolio investee companies in all aspects within 100 days right after the completion of the investment;
- Perform all below tasks belonging to Senior Finance and Accounting Consultant (for potential portfolio investee companies).
For existing portfolio investee companies (post-investment phase):
- Work closely, give advice and direct coaching/training to portfolio companies on various areas to ensure the success of the portfolio investee companies’ business performance:
+ Vision: The portfolio investee company has a clear compelling long-term vision or goals for 5-8 years in the future;
+ Drivers/Annual milestones/ Key Performance Indicators: The portfolio investee company has identified key drivers on an annual basis, that if achieved would result in the vision being achieved;
+ Management report: The portfolio investee company implements a management reporting system that reports actual performance against monthly KPIs target to enable the management team to focus on issues with biggest impact on performance;
+ Management team/HR Capability: The portfolio investee company has a strong team that can reliably deliver the expected results;
+ Bonus system: The cash and share bonus program is effective at causing the team to take the actions and deliver the results;
+ Corporate governance: The portfolio investee company has an actively participating and value-added Board of Directors; there are no conflicts of interest;
- Perform and obtain market research and central list of comparable companies on an ongoing basis to give relevant advice to the portfolio investee companies;
- Perform all below tasks belonging to Senior Finance and Accounting Consultant (for existing portfolio investee companies);
- Perform all required steps to make a successful divestment/exit from the existing portfolio investee companies when requested.

- Perform the analysis of financial performance and assess the financial, compliance and tax risks of potential portfolio investee companies;
- Perform system review, including accounting and internal system, of potential portfolio investee companies during investment appraisal process;
- Perform financial due diligence and give advice on strategic issues of potential portfolio investee companies;
- Build 5-year Financial model of potential portfolio investee companies;
- Perform valuation and sensitivity analysis, using variety of business valuation methods to provide reasonable range of value of potential portfolio investee companies (using Discounted Cash Flows, Market Multiples, and Net Asset Value methods);
- Advise and consult the Investment Director/Partner on (1) the range of valuation of potential investee companies and optimal deal structure; and (2) all finance and accounting related issues to be captured in the legal deal documents and to be handled later;

- Work closely, give advice and direct coaching/training to portfolio investee companies on various finance and accounting areas:
+ manpower and optimal task allocation within finance and accounting department,
+ meaningful management report template and system,
+ accurate financial reports,
+ effective internal control process and system,
+ optimal working capital management, effective and accurate budgeting system
- Detect high-risk areas, ensure the full compliance in tax, internal controls, financial reporting, external auditing, and disclosures at portfolio investee companies;
- Maintain and regularly update 5-year financial model of portfolio investee companies.
