My goal is becoming a professor in merchandising, purchasing, buying, business analysing...especially in garment and fashion, supply chain, retailing area. I hope to work in a competitive environment and the company could offer me a greater challenge where my ability is judged by KPI or turnoverand where i could increase benefits for my family, and the opportunity to help the company advance efficiently and productively. 1/2019 - Now : MERCHANDISER - OASIS GARMENT CO., LTD *Responsible for monitoring orders in production and coordinating garment components including the deliveries of samples and t rims to factories for production to start on time, plus the management of stock. Managed by email and telephone with Vietnam factories, Asia suppliers and overseas offices in UK, USA and Europe. - Daily tasks will include the monitoring of orders, target dates and event dates plus data ent ry while updating the critical path. - Other responsibilities will occasionally include t ranslation and the monitoring of courier parcels to and from Vietnam while assisting the Production Manager and helping with company objectives. *Main Duties / Responsibilities: Monitoring weekly Production Schedules against factory enquires. • Order management with factories from placement through to delivery. • Production event management, Critical Path administ ration and reporting. • Monitoring and coordinating t rim deliveries to ensure delivery and inspection on time. • Monitoring samples and all related courier parcels delivered and sent. • Trims Diary, File Maintenance, Stock records and monthly reporting. • Translation and explanation between Vietnamese and English languages. • Solving production issues related to Merchandising and Factories. • Checking information on Fast React against customer orders. • Co-operating with the Rep Office team to achieve delivery on time. • Establish and maintain working relationships with suppliers, factories customers. • Addition merchandising tasks that might be requested from time to time. • Reporting directly to the Vietnam Production Manager. 12/2017 - 12/2018 : MERCHANDISER ASSISTANT - PRODUCTION MANAGER - QUYNH PHUONG GARMENT CO., LTD - Prepared and organized paperwork and other materials as needed for meetings, conferences, t ravel arrangements and expenses reports. - Set up and handled incoming mails and office filling systems. - Collected and coordinated the flow of internal and external information. - Answered telephones and t ransferred calls to appropriate staff members. - Supervised all administ rative personnel with their operational tasks and made recommendations. - Having experience in getting to know fashion t rends, especially for Casual clothes. - Discuss project ideas and goals with each client, and turn these visions into real visual designs that meet the need using illust rations, artwork, design elements, and fonts. - Create original rich images for company clients using various types of computer software for graphic design - After receiving PO from Sales, input order into company's system - Communicating to Buyer & Supplier & Factory to solve all matters from development until shipment directly. - Process for Sample development, work with related departments. - Transfer order to production (Spinning, Knitting, Dyeing, Sewing). - Making purchase order materials/ accessories - Contacting with factories/ Planning team for follow up status of sample process, quality inspections, and order schedules. - Cont rolling & solving all problems related to order’s progress. - Follow up the delivery and customer’s payment
