Research and development of cosmetic product.
Main responsibilities:
- Sought and contacted with Vietnamese and foreigner partners for raw materials (Essential oils, herbs, base oil, and etc.).
- Researched and created soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and lip balm recipes. During that time, I did lot of experiments to choose which is the best.
- Controlled the overall quality of products
- Tested the output of products.
- Did digital marketing include blog and Facebook fanpage.
- Had taken care and consulted products for customers.

- Have learned many specialized subjects such as Nutrition and Functional Food, Food Analysis, Dairy Product Technology, Meat Product Technology and especially Cereal Science. Therefore, I’m able to understand about the definition and roles of macronutrients, micronutrients, probiotic and prebiotic, classifications of cereal grains and cereal-based products. Besides that, I can also comprehend instruments and methods used in food analysis.
IN MY INTERNSHIP
VIETNAM ACADEMY SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (JUN 2017 - SEP 2017)
Main responsibilities:
- Did a research about extracting pectin from dragon fruit peels, which is used in food and cosmetics industry.
- Did grinding, drying dragon peels and bleaching and drying pectin at suitable temperature.
Recognition and Gains:
- Understood the working principles and how to operate laboratory equipment in related to extracting pectin.
- Knew the way to do a research independently.
IN MY THESIS
HCM INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY (DEC 2017 - AUG 2018)
Main responsibilities:
- Created a new product (gac yogurt) and analyzed of the effect of fortification of gac aril on bioactive and microbial characteristics of yogurt.
- During that time, I made many batches of yogurt and did a lots of tests such as measurement of pH, analysis of total phenolic content, carotenoids content, antioxidant activity, total viable cell count and sensory evaluation.
Recognition and Gains:
- Understood how to arrange time more reasonably between tests.
- Knew what the temperature to dry yogurt which did not effect the qualities of yogurt, and prepare it for tests.
- Grasped more about the food analysis and used the equipment more proficiently.
