Implement purchasing policies and procedures in accordance with Company standards.
Work with CEO and department directors to determine purchasing needs and requirements under proper resources and investment.
Identify the most appropriate local or overseas suppliers for the designated products and services, determine availability, perform comparative pricing, confirm specifications of products and establish delivery requirements/timelines.
Conduct the evaluation of proposals from trusted suppliers, in accordance with internal policy and external local, regulations while selecting the best supplier. This includes interviewing them, visiting their factories and project sites, examining quality of product, pricing, terms of sales, delivery time, then negotiating terms and prices to obtain the best deal for the company.
Perform all purchasing functions including establishing and monitoring contracts, issuing purchase orders (POs), invoice creation, pricing verification, payment authorization, complete entries into accounting system, etc …
Assure suppliers deliver materials and services in accordance with standards of price, time, quantity and quality agreed upon.
Keep track of all goods and services ordered and received, and maintain accurate inventory records including details on price, performance, and delivery.
Identify and resolve any and all issues related to product quality, pricing, delivery, utilization, loss, failure.
Coordinate with company outlets in different locations to make sure each outlet receives cost-effective supplies in a timely manner.
Update company on any new products that may be more efficient or cost effective, obsolete products, product trends.
Set work objectives, directs, supervises and reviews staff and staff assignments.
Maintain strong business relationship with key suppliers while sourcing new qualified ones.
Weekly report the purchasing status to the CEO.
