Main responsibilities:
-Support commodity purchasers to negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Proceed to open LC according to the contract.
- Check the import documents.
- Check and make sure that all shipments are covered by insurance, and insurance amendments, and settlement of insurance claims when there are losses or damages.
- Update the status of the shipment, tracing the process of shipment.
- Update information about seaport situation, warning when the port congestion situation causes delays in the plan to take commodities to the factory.
- Coordinate with the accounting function: updating status of the payment for ports, shipping line, LC, TTR, DP; make sure it will be processed on time.
- Handling all problems related to seaports (contracts) and shipping lines (solving dem & detention problems)
- Control the insurance premium, the exemption rate of the insurers.
- Making import permits.
