JSC Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, formerly known as Bank for Foreign trade of Vietnam(VCB Bank), was established on 01/04/1963 from the Foreign Exchange Bureau (of the State Bank of Vietnam). Being the firststate commercial bank chosen for pilot privatization by the Government, Joint Stock Commercial Bank forForeign Trade of Vietnam officially came in to operation on 02/06/2008, after successfully implementing the equitization plan through IPO. Vietcombank (stock code: VCB) officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock
Exchange (HOSE) on 30/06/2009.
Main duties
- Gathering information from various sources Business Department,Finance, Purchasing, Human
Resource..ect and and interpreting data.
- Analysing results
- Interprets/Transform data and turns it into information which can offer ways to improve a
business,Make data become right, accurate information to make the right decision, thus affecting
business decisions.
- Work with categories department such as Business Department,Finance, Human Resource and IT to
implement the automation system/report tool base on the Business demands.
- Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business
- Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
- Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
- Defining new data collection and analysis processes
- Identify, evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing

- Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content gather, understand and
document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the employer's business
- Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools

- Provide sector and competitor benchmarking mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present themsuccessfully to management using a reporting tool
