Senior LOGISTICS - 3 PL Team Lead

1. Operative responsible management of our 3PL partner incl. operative interface to the partner
- Main 3PL contact incl. authorization of returns (after SCM approval)
- Management of all processes, which needs to take care of by our external partner.
- Logistic operations, production (pre packing, kitting, generate kitting instructions, value added services)
- Control of all production orders incl. value added services processes.
- Cost planning of the external costs and controlling at minimum on a monthly base (status versus plan), yearly budgeting of logistics costs incl. influence of business development, changes in assortment and external costs impact (e.g. forwarding…)
- Supervision and maintenance of logistics relevant master data (morphologic data) and customs relevant master data (custom tariff number, preferential calculation, bans and rules …).
- Responsibility for all logistic KPI’s which are needed to control the 3 PL partner. Avoidance of additional costs, ensuring the target delivery service based on the service of the 3 PL at minimized costs. Monitoring the scheduling of all deliveries (inbound and outbound) and the service of the 3PL on time.
- Very close cooperation with 3PL logistics, sales, local SCM, Product management, and global logistics.
- Control of all production orders incl. value added services processes.
- Interface management WMS/ERP (Odoo / SAP)

2. Reporting / Analysis tasks
- Updating of stock parameters as a fill-grade of the rented space. Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Update the overseas inbound and outbound shipment plans in cooperation with 3 PL.
- Cooperation in creation of forwarders forecasts to enable deliveries on time FOB.
- Contact the 3PL in advance in case of changes of the stock situation in the warehouse (need of more or less space of bin locations).
- Monitoring of "production order situation" (e.g. for kitting or pre packing) and control the 3 PL on this workload (production on time for agreed costs and requested quality).
- Handle all import and export shipments by manage processes which have to be fulfilled by our external partner. (logistic operations, production pre packing, kitting, value added services….)
- Coordinate closely with 3PL logistics, sales, local SCM, Product management, and global logistics and warehouse manager to ensure our deliveries are completed and on time.
- Review all procedures in the company to ensure they are compliant with the law and Inter-company Code of Conduct. Ensure that all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
- Attend customs trainings, which been provided by customs department and also - strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services
- Prepare budget and project deliverables.
- Ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value.

- Minimum 5 years of experience on controlling external logistic partner based on contracts and KPIs as a logistics manager. Vast experience with Air & sea freight forwarding and logistics operation, Customs clearance, Domestic delivery is a must.
- Education requirements: Bachelor degree, preferably in Economics, Foreign Trade, Logistics or similar
- Mastering processes of material planning including planning dependencies and logistical processes
- Independent, strong collaborator, communicative with strong problem solving skills
- Deep application knowledge in ERP applications (like SAP or Odoo) and MS Office
- Fluent in business English (oral+ written)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment (and know when to lead and when to follow)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communications skills including oral, written, and presentation
- A high level of motivation and a self-starting attitude
- An ability to think outside of the box, and thrive on new challenges
