Senior Accountant

Position within the organisation:
The Senior Accountant manages the daily operation of the accounting/finance department and reports to Chief Accountant.

Scope of the position:
Support the Chief Accountant to execute the administrative accounting processes for the finance department of Wassenburg Medical Vietnam.

General description of the activities:
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the financial/accounting system of the company under supervision of Chief Accountant within the financial department.
Execute administrative activities in accordance with the procedures, as:
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Tax declarations and other finance declarations
- Calculate production costing and warehouse movements.

Responsible for:
- Check the validation of supporting documents for payment requests.
- Perform bank reconciliation and month-end reconciliation of all general ledger balances.
- Assist in review the payroll and ensure that labor expenses are properly posted.
- Follow up the company’s cash movement.
- Archive accounting documents.
- Checking and comparing import figures of storekeeper and logistics staff.
- Inventory, fixed assets, tools and spare-part management.
- Calculating cost of materials constituting in finished products
- Assist in implementing & maintaining internal financial system control.
- Assist in yearly FS auditing & taxes auditing.
- Other tasks assigned by Chief Accountant.

• Age: under 40
• Graduated from National Economics University or Academy of Finance.
• Good MS Office, especially Excel literacy.
• Highly responsible, self-motivated, hard-working, patient, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as Accountant in a manufacturing company is a must.
• Good in the English language.

• A flexible attitude is appreciated. The position is a full-time position.
