We are looking for top quality Research Engineers, who will help us find innovative ways to implement machine learning algorithms that are the backbone of our disruptive financial products. Your primary focus will be in (1) contributing to the development of our revolutionary predictive models from ideation to deliverables or any step in-between and (2) deepening your own understanding of statistical analysis, graph computing, deep learning and AI to be ready for a more senior R&D role in 12-18 months.
** Responsibilities
- Ideating and executing features computation, tuning, and selection
- Assisting in predictive modeling using state-of-the-art methods
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Participating in training programs in data science, statistics, optimization and machine learning
- Occasionally traveling overseas (not more than 10% of the time)
- This position reports to data scientists and product owners

- Excellent problem solving skills
- Outside-of-the-box thinker
- Great scripting and programming skills
- Great communication skills
- Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Python, Spark, etc is a plus
- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL is a plus
- Deep understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms is a plus
- Experience with applied statistics and optimization is a plus
- Master in CS with focus on machine learning is a plus
