Producer

Starberry is seeking an experienced Producer to have a pivotal role in establishing our Creative Production Studio. This will quickly develop into a creative studio situated in the heart of a creative agency. Collaborative, efficient, organised, friendly and enjoyable will be the core of business. The ideal candidate will be working closely with the cross-funcitional team in delivering a high volume of high-quality video content.
This role may involve mentoring a growing team and driving efficiencies through the workflow aside from looking after the day to day running of projects.
This person is someone who is highly organised, practical yet creative, experienced in versioning on a large scale but also has experience in creative and has a keen eye for detail.
They understand how to prioritise and react accordingly.
Versatility, problem solving, caring, calm and being considered is key.
Understanding partner needs and also team needs, assimilating information and delivering clear instructions within planned time scales.
Reporting on project status and billing to management team.
Has a good understanding of what can be achieved with use of software & technology.
Strong commercial experience of working to production and post production work flows, encodes and digital workflows & specifications.
Able to liaise with cross-functional team and engineers to find best practical solutions. Familiar with bidding and scheduling systems and is eager to learn the latest softwares.

At first creating a solid base for transcreation for various market localisation of original content for digital, TV and social media content distribution on behalf of the wider creative production network.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:
● The role of producer encompasses both front and back of house dealings with other departments throughout the company and locations.
● They will be responsible for all budgetary negotiations as well as scheduling on all jobs they work on.
● All quotes are to be in writing confirming the discussions and sent with a schedule when relevant.
● They will be responsible for scheduling all projects on the chosen software and responsible for reconciling the job and gaining client approval for invoicing.
● Assimilating information and delivering clear instructions within planned time scales.
● It is very important to ensure all paperwork is always up to date, accurate and methodical.
They will be responsible for reporting accurate weekly sales figures to HOP and Accounts.
● They are expected to run productions single handed, and it is their responsibility to flag issues at the earliest opportunity to HOP. Support will always be offered to help find the best solution.
● Most importantly they should enjoy what they do, the work they produce and have fun.
