New Product Development Director- Asia (Job#21647)

- Manage a team with two local RA/ QA managers that are working as extensions of the corporate Regulatory Affairs department, Technical Formulation Field manager that help to scale up and translate a technical knowledge of our liquids to the bottlers, as well as a commercialization project manager.
- Help to Design and scope project plan/ timeline jointly with the help of the NPD PM at Corporate
- Help commercial with the technical and NPD specific information required to move projects along with the bottlers.
- Support the local NPD team in weekly cross-functional team meetings with the company supply chain team and bottlers in local markets, to help the corporate PM to move projects along in the local markets or to answer questions necessary for NPD projects with the local teams.
- Ensure that NPD project priorities are managed by capturing information for all stakeholders and ensure that tasks are completed by local NPD stakeholders according to the project timelines.
- Participate in bottler commercialization calls to identify deliveries for the customer Stages and Gates process.
- Track all activities and interact on a daily level with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure communication of priorities and instill a sense of urgency with all stakeholders at the local offices and with the bottler.
- Communicate progress and flag delays in timelines to Commercial leadership by understanding the critical path of the project at hand
+ Analyze cause and effect of timeline changes based on close interaction with the local commercial leadership.
+ Identify actionable items and work with the Corporate PM resource to scope and update the project plan
+ Identify action plan with local vendors/ CPS to help build an accurate timeline and to drive the tasks in the local markets.
- Manage the Artwork Project Specialist on:
+ Coordination of artwork fulfillment (die lines, trays, carriers, film, proofing, etc.) with local secondary packaging vendors.
+ Ensure the correct grid tests are being completed in collaboration with the local packaging engineering team
- Maintain creative, high performing motivated cross-functional teams through challenging, direction setting, coaching and execution in everyday team interactions

2. Technical Expertise
- Proficiency with analytical and presentation tools (Excel and PowerPoint) other project management/team collaboration tools.
3. Education/Training
- Bachelors of Science in a technical or Scientific field. MBA a plus
- 5-8 years of cross-functional team leadership and project management experience in consumer-packaged goods or a related business function is essential. New product development/commercialization experience is preferred
