Maintenance Team Leader

JOB PURPOSE: To lead, control, coordinate and monitor site corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance program in all HMV Facilities and ensure 100% compliance Huntsman Good Engineering Practices, Environmental Health and Safety.

1. To ensure the facilities and equipment on site are safe and ready to use. Follow site EHS and ISO policy / procedures. Prevent and report all unsafe action & condition to Plant Manager via any communication tools or learning incident to prevent any accident occur on site.

2. Work with Plant Manager for Engineering contractor selection and evaluation. Agree yearly engineering plan for Preventive Maintenance & Calibration program with Plant Manager and work with outsource contractors to deliver the plan. Responsible as contact point for engineering contractor on site. Ensure fully compliance with EHS permit to work system during engineering work. Monitoring , regular operational audit and regular review on service performance to ensure the delivery of on time in full quality service.

3. Support Function/ Department Manager to manage and control all Corrective maintenance in each department with Department Manager including support for any new project on site relate to Engineering.

4. Support Plant Manager to ensure that group engineering procedure (GEP) based on GEP white book standard are fully implement on site. Work with Plant Manager for area of Engineering improvement to setup target for site improvement.

5. Follow ISO procedures /work instructions implement on plant. Report and propose area of improvement to Plant Manager for review and approve to revised.

6. Submit Monthly Engineering Performance report, other related engineering or EHS report required by Plant Manager.

7. Responsible as one of the key person of owner to receive and commissioning the plant facilities and equipment with the support of production team and outsourced maintenance service contractor

8. Establish the facility and equipment drawing/Maintenance Instruction system and keep them up to date

9. One of the key person for managing the change (MOC) management and documentation

10. Budget owner of maintenance.

1. Diploma in Automation or Electrical with minimum three years working experience in maintenance field in chemical manufacturing.

2. Having one to two years of experience in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 system related to engineering background and 3.5 years working experience. Having
experience in mechanical and equipment (factory is semi-automation) and in writing procedure, working process (as this is new plant)

3. Positive cooperation and good communication as job holder shall work with many team internal and external outsource service provider.

4. Proactive and good analytical skill, good decision making and time management as job holder shall deliver his job on time with safe, He also shall be practical and hand on type.

5. Good knowledge of Microsoft application.

6. Having experience to read and understand engineering drawing/ specification, CMMS

7. Fair to good in both written and spoken English to make contact to other department in region (quality, safety..)

8. Chinese is a plus

Working location: Amata industrial zone (company shuttle bus is provided)
Working time is 1 shift only, 8:00 AM – 4:55 PM (break from 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM) – Mon – Friday (overtime sometimes needed)
