Mô tả công việc
The Trader is responsible for developing a commercial plan and approach, the day to day commercial. The Trader alternates between regular reporting, customer contact and teamwork with the different Departments.
Furthermore, the Trader is in regular contact with customers to increase customer insights and builds a strong visibility on the suppliers and demand side, in terms of market price evolutions, customer requirements to support and implement the commercial sales strategy.
The responsibilities of the Trader include but are not limited to:
1. Prospecting & Trading
o Identify and contact and evaluating potential new customer and suppliers in the assigned market
o Build and sustain a strong relationship within a network of key customers
o Identify and negotiating profitable transactions (and long-term contracts)
o Ensuring continuous sales pipeline
2. Business Intelligence Statistics
o Monitor competitors and market shares
o Combine sales data with market data to surveil market trends and market share
o Provide support to stakeholders by identifying additional opportunities to analyze data for improved business intelligence
3. Implementing the commercial strategy
o Identify and evaluate new market opportunities (new customers/ products / services)
o Build and maintain strong relationships with important customers & suppliers (with traders)
o Collect information on competition, sales trends, business opportunities and results within the assigned market providing input during monthly business review.
4. Supporting the commercial operations
o Support on sales calls & visits, offers & price setting (tenders) and negotiations
o Review pre-calculations and review the pro-forma invoices (sales offer)
5. Regular Reporting
o Creating and delivering meaningful daily, weekly and monthly reports and charts that accurately reflect the business performance of each department.
o Create, update and distribute highly accurate daily, weekly, monthly, year-to-date and annual reporting packages and analysis that meet all stakeholders’ needs and timeframes
o Ensure accuracy of source data.
o Ad Hoc Reporting - Collect and organize data and translate ad-hoc report requests into useful and functional reports.
o Preparing internal meetings
6. Marketing tools
o Support the different Departments in the preparation of Communication/Marketing documents (presentation, boards, flyers, events…)

Education
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in business management
• Understanding of international logistics/maritime shipping business and Incoterms
Experiences
• 2-5 years of relevant and proven B2B sales experiences
• Understanding in commodity markets (chemical products) is a plus
Knowledge/Skills Excellent negotiation skills
• Thorough understanding of Trading business
• Precise in your way of working, you can put priorities and like to get results
• Enjoying challenges and closing deals
• Strong communicator who likes to build relationships and deal with various types of people & cultures
• Able to structure and deliver clearly and convincingly (verbal & written)
• Positivity and energetic attitude towards clients and the team
• A natural team-player who prefers collaboration and joint progress over individual results
Language and IT tools
• Vietnamese – Native
• English – Fluent
• Proficient IT application skills: Mail, MS office
