General Accountant

This position is responsible for handling all related accounting functions efficiently and compliant, supporting Finance and Admin team with clerical functions upon requirement.
Below are the main job responsibilities for the position:
• Control and maintain full set of accounting system including Account Receivable, Account Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash book and General Ledger;
• Check all postings in the general ledger and prepare the Trial Balance;
• Ensure proper and accurate accounts reconciliation on a monthly basis;
• Post all transactions related to fixed assets in the subsidiary ledger with records maintained by every department/unit;
• Provide a system of control over fixed assets (furniture & fixtures equipment) so each item could easily be traced and accounted for;
• Check and verify Payment vouchers; ensure all receivables and expenses to be properly documented;
• Conduct periodic inventory of fixed assets, maintain complete and correct records of fixed assets as to: Acquisition, Improvement, Reclassification, Disposal/Sales
• File all documents and records related to bookkeeping to ensure they are complete and chronologically arranged
• Monthly checking to ensure that official receipts/invoices cover all payments
• Support Finance and Admin team with clerical functions upon requirement.
• Any other job functions as assigned by your immediate superior.

Minimum Academic/Professional Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
● Accounting certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is a plus
