Finance Director - for Seedcom's Portforlio Companies

MAIN DUTIES:
• To act as a Business Partner and cultivate effective relationships with all departments represented.
• To provide expert financial input into the strategic decision-making process for the Company.
• To effectively lead, manage and develop the finance team members.
• To provide accurate and timely information at Company level.
• Ensure delivery of robust and efficient financial entity administrations; compliance to statutory and tax obligations.
• Fulfilling the role of Chief Accountant for our entire Vietnamese operations according to our Charter and local Vietnamese accounting regulations.
• To fulfill all financial and management reporting & analysis requirements for the management and Group purposes.
• To ensure all financial control and reporting aspects of Group initiatives are effectively deployed within the Company.
• To evaluate and communicate potential impact on Company performance from initiatives and decisions considered by the management.
• To manage the company relationship with funding partners and ensure the company cash stability.
• To contribute to a thorough risk assessment of relevant projects at proposal stage and throughout project execution.
• To timely address compliance issues and undertakes appropriate action.
• To ensure all statutory (including financial and taxation requirements) and legal requirements are adhered to.

KEY DELIVERABLES:
• The provision of high quality information and analysis for decision making and Company performance improvement purposes.
• Identify and deliver Company profitability improvement opportunities.
• Delivery of Company results and analysis requirements to a high standard and within the agreed timescales.
• To continually deliver robust and efficient financial administration of projects and entities.
• To create effective relationships with business peers, group and business advisors.
• Train and develop team members driving a sales and profit improvement culture.

OTHER DUTIES:
• Carry out any duties which your line manager may reasonably request within the broad parameters of your role.


REPORTING TO:
• Managing Director (Company) and Group CFO (HQ). Strong links to Head of Departments (Company) and Group Financial Controller (HQ).

• Chartered Accountant having a relevant experience (of which 5 years+ in a similar role as described here) with a sound understanding of above mentioned responsibilities.
• Strong business partner with the ability to deliver continuous improvement to the strategic direction of the country.
• Ability to adopt a broad perspective and approach issues from Company, Business Line and Group standpoint.
• Experienced in setting up the financial reporting system.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strong relationship building and management skills.
• Strong business analysis skills.

• Commercially astute.
• Full knowledge of financial accounting standards, laws and practices
