Mô tả công việc

A digital marketing officer is responsible for developing the strategy used in marketing school's product online, utilizing such techniques in the field as social media, web analytics, e-mail marketing and search engine optimization, among others. In a position of officer, he/she oversees internet marketing campaigns from program management to execution.

In addition to those duties that may be prescribed from time to time by policies established by the School Board, and administrative guidelines as set forth by the Head of School, the Digital Marketing Officer duties shall include:

I. Essential responsibilities:
1. Ensure the school’s presence on all relevant social media platforms. This entails creating content for all platforms. Produce materials required for the SSIS website, publications, and external content sites as requested by the Director of Marketing.
2. Produce event marketing videos. Beyond that, produce several larger, more involved video campaigns, Divisional Series in pre-production for the year.
3. Conduct Market Research and Analysis, which includes tracking and analyzing trends in website traffic, online advertising, and social media campaigns, and their overall impact on SSIS admissions and retention efforts. Make adjustments to advertising and multimedia campaigns accordingly.
4. Develop, maintain, and adhere to an Editorial/Production calendar for the year.
5. Develop a Marketing Plan annually, or as needed, to be submitted to the, Marketing Director, SSIS HoS and school board, outlining:trends and observations on spending, performance, and creative strategies,target audiences (existing and prospective),goals and objectives, strategies and tasks and marketing budgets.
6. Maintain the database of digital video materials and images in logical and technical manner. Effective self- management of project timelines, accuracy of details in all produced files, professional and realistic photo retouching and color correction. Organize materials and assemble necessary equipment ensuring all supplies are available on relevant marketing events; Maintain and transport equipment in a safe manner
7. Remain up -to - date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing,social media and measurement.
8. Maintain confidentiality of school and student related information.
9. Provide the leadership and expertise necessary to ensure that the school marketing programs are aligned with the mission, goals, and objectives of the school, and is an integral component of the learning/instructional/marketing program.
10. Support other more traditional marketing activities.
11. Performs other duties/ projects as assigned.

II. Health and Safety
1. Promotion of the general well-being of students.
2. Supervision of students as assigned and an immediate response when confronted with unsafe situations or concerns for safety.
3. The practicing of emergency drills and a familiarity with the School’s emergency procedures and the staff’s responsibilities under different circumstances.

III. Contributions to the School Culture
1. Maintaining friendly and collegial relationships with the larger school community, including students, fellow teachers, administrators and parents.
2. Support and modelling of the Core Values of the School: Academic Excellence, a Sense of Self, Dedicated Service, a Balance of Life, and Respect for All.
3. Modeling a sense of professionalism and decorum in behavior, speech, and dress both on campus and off, during the school year and while on annual leave.
4. Regularly communications with parents in correspondence that is thoughtful, accurate, and grammatical.
5. A willingness to devote time to events and activities after school hours.

IV. Professional Development and School Improvement
1. The pursuit of individual professional development that aligns with student needs, School initiatives, and institutional needs.
2. The implementation of all major School academic programs, particularly those adopted to achieve and maintain accreditation and to improve the school’s reputation.
3. Participation in the planning of marketing programs improvements.
4. Attendance at staff meetings to plan events and activities, consider school issues, discuss student work and lesson plans, and adapt curriculum and instruction to student needs.

Yêu cầu ứng viên

Knowledge, Education and Experience:
• A highly qualified candidate will hold appropriate certification as digital marketing
and have completed at least bachelor degree.
• BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
• Proven working experience in digital and social media marketing.
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools

Skills:
• Demonstrate a positive and professional image with excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative and alternative thinking to develop new ideas for and answers towork-related problems
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

Abilities:
• Ability to use graphics software and/or web based graphics and design tools.
• Brainstorming design ideas.
• The ability to balance work in several projects at a time.
• Willing to work a varied seasonal schedule, including early mornings and long days
