Vietnam Investment Group is finding Chief Finance Officer for International Bilingual School. Specific content as follows:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Work closely with the CEO and others to gather and leverage financial and other data to make critical decisions around programs, enrolment, expansion, technology, partnerships, and other aspects of the Company’s operations.
• Provide leadership and coordination of all company financial practices, including accounting, budgeting, financial reports, taxes, and audit functions.
• Assure compliance with all regulatory agencies, including working with outside auditors in preparation of annual financial and compliance audits.
ACCOUNTING & FINANCE
• Oversee all company accounting & finance practices, including accounting, budgeting, financial reports, taxes and audit functions
• Oversee preparation of the annual budget whereby organizational needs are identified, consensus on priorities is obtained, and translates the consensus into a financial plan
• Develop procedures that integrate business and strategic planning into the annual budget process
• Monitor external events and developments to ensure that budget preparation incorporates the most current information
• Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and actively-based financial analysis to provide insight into the Company’s operations and business plans
• On an ongoing basis, gather financial and other data that can be used to run the Company more efficiently and profitably
• Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and corporate investment decisions; manage procurement process for meaningful equipment acquisition or major contracts
• Refine and execute expense monitoring and control procedures
• Manage internal risks and establish internal controls
• Assure compliance with all regulatory agencies, including working with outside auditors in preparation of annual financial and compliance audits
• Select and implement accounting software; create, coordinate and evaluate changes and improvements in automated financial management information systems for the Company
• Manage and coach accounting and finance staff; identify and propose additional staffing needs to CEO as appropriate.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
• At least 5 years-experience in financial management role, preferably CFO, Finance Director, Chief Accountant, senior manager or director level at a major company, audit and/or financial advisory firm
• Strong knowledge and experience in all aspects of accounting:
― Experience in controller functions such as cash management, payroll, A/R, A/P, billing, and inventory management
― Experience in financial management such as sales analysis, pricing, tax, fiscal planning, and financial statement preparation
― Experience in developing and managing forecasts and budgets
― Experience in procurement functions such as purchasing, solicitations, property control, risk management and insurance
― Experience in financial information systems; work with IT to upgrade and maintain computer systems which capture information required for internal and external financial reporting
• A track record of exerting strong fiscal control (appropriately managing/conserving cash) and driving EBIT bottom-line growth
• Have a thorough knowledge of VAS and Vietnamese tax laws
• Experience in education sector is a strong plus; experience in developing and implementing financial processes and procedures that are scalable as an organization grows; experience in managing finances for a multi-location school
• BA in Accounting, Finance or a related field is required; MBA, MA and/or overseas graduate studies is a strong plus.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High integrity.
