Our client is seeking an individual to manage suppliers across Asia, with a strong background in sourcing on inox products. The ideal candidate must be willing to work from home and travel across the region.
Description
The quality manager will be working from home, and travelling to different countries in the Asian region. The position will report directly to the managing director of the region:
* Leading sourcing activity through recommending qualified suppliers in Asia countries
* Managing customer's sourcing requests
* Supporting Quality team and coordinating for smooth operation with Asia suppliers
* Managing and working together with engineering and Product Category teams for new product development
* Key contact with internal team and supplier in effectively communicating product development, pricing and quality requirements, sample order status, technical issues and other relevant information
* Ensuring customer's expectations are met through Liaison with in-line functions including Customer Service, Logistics, Engineering, Quality and Procurement Departments
* Host visits from customers, occasional overseas travelling and other related functions
Profile
Entrepreneurial and result-oriented mindset in addition to:
* University graduate
* At least 8 years of working experience and 3 years in inox products.
* Willing to travel to different Asian countries each months.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Good presentation, reporting and communication skills.
* Proficient in English and Vietnamese. Chinese is a plus.
