Accounting / Bookkeeping / Data Conversion positions – Prefer New Graduates – 6 Month Contracts

Odyssey Resources (www.odyssey-resources.com) is an Australian-owned company providing a wide-range of Accounting, Tax and Bookkeeping Services to companies located throughout Australia and Vietnam. The work involves converting data into the latest online cloud accounting software.

Ideally you are a recent Accounting / Finance graduate ready to undertake a short 2 week intensive training course, then commence a 6 month paid working contract.

You will be trained to perform data conversion tasks from manual or desktop systems into the latest cloud software.

Whilst our working environment is Vietnamese speaking, our accounting work is processed in English and you must be confident in written English.

We highly regard accounting graduates from leading Vietnamese universities such as The National Economics University and The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. Additional related studies such as CPA Australia, ACCA or CAT are also well regarded.

We also value accounting graduates who have studied overseas or attended Australian universities (both abroad and in Australia).

At the conclusion of the 6 month contract there will be the opportunity to be considered for extension of work in the conversion division, or to apply for a position in our other bookkeeping and compliance divisions. Applicants with good English skills are well regarded, and well placed for advancement to higher positions.

• University graduate, majoring in Accounting, with good grades
• Strong English skills – written competency is a must and verbal skills are highly valued
• Being flexible and able to work independently but also in group
• Having good interpersonal skills and commitment to the accounting profession
• Being detail oriented and able to work under pressure
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook is required
• Comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment
