This is a great opportunity to join a growing business based in Sydney. Your role is to perform as an offshore Junior Accountant/ Bookkeeper for our Australian-based Accounting firm. We are offering 3 openings for 3 enthusiastic and determined people to join our team (based in Hanoi). Full training will be provided so you are not expected to know everything as long as you are willing to work hard and learn.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with the flow of information between the account and its clients
- Handle all admin tasks
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
PURPOSE
- In-charge of the complete filing system to support financial records
- Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, computer printouts
- Allocate and post financial transaction details to client’s subscribed accounting system like Xero & Quickbooks Online
- Reconcile and balance all accounts
- Draw up draft financial statements (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet)
- Record accounts and do manual journal entries
- Prepare email queries for clients as required
- Collate and analyze account data and generate financial reports
- Track and maintain inventory records
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare batch payments from accounting software & load ABA files into online bank accounts for approval
- Assist in the preparation and lodgment of Business Activity Statement to Australian Taxation Office
- Perform other tasks as required by the client and the management

Yêu cầu ứng viên
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, accounting or relevant course
- Proficient with MS Office applications
- Knowledge on Xero/ MYOB/ Quickbooks accounting system (preferred but not necessary)
- Exposure in handling Australian accounts (preferred but not necessary)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- High degree of accuracy and attention to details
- Flexibility to perform relevant admin tasks as required by the clients
